OK. Write up a list of features you want the app to have and what you want the app to do (any developer is going to need that information) and if you want me to see if I can make it for you, PM me that list.

Doesn't Diary Pro already do just that. There is another app that links notes, pics etc to a diary/calendar app but I can't think of the name of it right now.

Actually, I have tries them all (diary pro, ever notes, picINote, get it done, groove notes, etc.) The best so far, the one I could live with is Groovy Notes.

There is a couple of good apps out there but not made for coaching... I need to search notes or comments, those notes must be linked to a calendar, etc.

Groovy Notes was the other one I was thinking of.

I think if you provide more detail on what you are looking for (a few for instances perhaps) it would help others know what you need that the other note/diary apps don't allow you to do. I don't use those apps but doesn't Groovy notes offer the ability to search ?

I need a coaching tool to make my life easier. I need something to properly take notes and comments on just about everything. Right now (and I would say for at least 15 years) the so called software or apps for coaching are basically a ''drawing drills'' tools, none of them offers what coaches really need.

After a game we take note (how was the game, how did my players played, who was their best players). For the practices, we want to know who were there, what we practiced (image insertion), dis we practices well. A swimming teacher will want to follow up the development of a certain swimmer. A basketball coach may want to take stats. A football coach would be interested in the oponent defense system, etc. Bottom line, coaches take notes.

Many apps or software out there offers the ability to take notes and searching tool among them. But they are all missing something to make it THAT coaching tool that everybody will want to use. Right now, some use ever notes, some other prefer groovy notes, I have seen a couple using picInotes (that was hawfull), etc. But they are not designed for coaching, they are great apps for general notes.

For at least 1 year, I am discussing and searching every where I can on what is offered for coaches out there. They all focus on drill designing... After finishing compiling all the info I got from other sports coaches, etc. I came up with a pretty good app that could be used by any sport coach or teacher...

We need a calendar to follow up our season. Regular type of calendar with general information (date, time, where, small text note (who we play against, etc.)). The past entries can be used a s a reference (what tournement we did last year, how many practices I had last months, when was the last time we played against this team).

When clicking on a certain event (game, practces, etc.), we can consult that event more closely. There might be images (Plays, drills, exercises, etc.), there will be details notes, etc.

Somekind of a library would be very usefull. All coaches carries document, reference, etc. We want to place them all at the same place withing that coaching app.

A drill designing tool would be good... Coaches rarelly uses that type of apps but it makes it a WOW coaching tool.

A contact list where we can separate the player from the parents (that's a great challenge because not a lot of software/apps offers that functionnality).

Of course, it may look hard to picture it but consider it a ''booklet''. A booklet where an entire season would be in there... All practices, meeting, games, tournements, etc. By flipping throught the pages, we could easilly see our season.

Sounds fascinating. You seem to have a good handle on what you want. This might be the start of something great. Good luck.

Thanks... I know I have something solid, I just need a developer willing to put some time on it.
