How do I determine the SSID for my Playbook?

I don't know much about networks but the SSID should be the public name of your network. That name comes from the router or access point. On my router the SSID and password are on a sticker attached on the bottom of the router. .

    Hi,

I don't remember the PB beeing able to either work as a hotspot nor Ad-Hoc networking. If I'm right, there is not SSID for your PB.

That's true. PB cannot be a hotspot/provide an internet connection.
If you are looking for the WIFI for the router/network where you are, go to settings/wifi/available networks. You will most likely require a password.
