    Simple question. BB10 was supposed to be hitting the Playbook shortly after the launch of the new os on the phone. With the delay we should be getting them alonside each other right?

    That would depend on the delay type; hardware, software, manufacturing processes, management head lodged farther in backside than first thought, ect.

    Ahh... optimism, gotta love it!

    If BB10 phones ever become real things you could buy, my guess is that Playbook would get BB10 OS (some unspecified time) afterwards (as per the original plan stated by that VP).

    Given RIM's current problems, I reckon even optimism might struggle to see a near simultaneous BB10 release for phones and PB in Q1'13. That would take organisation that I fear is beyond RIM's ability.
