Despite the lack of support for the BlackBerry PlayBook by many applications developers, we have a web browser which functions even better than some desktop web browsers.

While taking a course called Computing for Data Analysis which requires use of R as the data analysis software package I came across a client-server application running the client in the web browser. This application is accessible at no cost @ www.datamind.com without any issues. After two and one-half years since release the BlackBerry PlayBook remains a useful device.

For anyone whom creates and/or edits LaTeX documents either alone or collaboratively check out www.writelatex.com.

Too bad BlackBerry doesn't consider the BlackBerry PlayBook a viable product as evidenced by the crippled BlackBerry Bridge especially for reading email on the tablet while the email remained secure on the smartphone.

Just pointing out the capabilities of the native BlackBerry PlayBook web browser to handle webapps.
