I say nay nay. The new guy at RIM says on time is the new rule so I am thinking the 14th is it. I wish RIM all the best with all the changes.

"On time is the new rule" is always easier when you're fuzzy on your definition of "on time" to begin with. We haven't heard any solid date, and of the couple we HAVE heard, the 14th is not one of them.

(BTW, I don't mind if there's a little fuzziness around the release date, as long as they make their stated window of February; nothing wrong with managing customers' expectations a little)

Why is it a cause for concern? RIM never gave an actual date in February ... just "February". A personal source who works for RIM suggested mid-to-late February ... this was back in early January.

I can understand some trepidation for those who went through the broken promises of 2011, but shouldn't we wait until, say, March, before we express "cause for concern"?

It just seems a tad premature to me ...

Everything has there schedule date & They have there a reason to have them. As for your comment about problems, If you don't have any info to go by then its just BS....
