    You should have a router, for Wireless Internet, in your home.
    You connect the PlayBook to a WiFi connection. (WiFi = Wireless Internet)

    If your computer has wifi, you can use Your Hotspot, Your Way - Connectify to turn it into a router.

    Hooking the PB to a cable defeats the whole portability concept... You really should get a wifi router. Or try to turn the pc into a hotspot as so many suggested...
