These prices match the levels at Christmas. My personal belief is that although they say the prices will return to full retail after 12/31, they will stay where they are now. In other words, this is the price point at which they sell (particularly for the 16 GB).
I just checked the Canadian website and they're offering those same prices with free shipping to addresses in Canada. Looks like the U.S. website also offers free shipping to U.S. addresses.
I am on holidays in the states and ordered on 16GB PlayBook yesterday. In only costs half of the price in germany.
