Eh... It's been so since 2.0... Dunno why you sound so surprised.
Use the solution we did for the free Docs2Go on phones. Have a blank Powerpoint template sitting around the PlayBook's folders and use it to create new presentations.
Just remember to save the preventative not with a differentiate, so you don't lose the template.
Ok sorry I didnt have my PB during the 2.0 OS. I just got it last sunday wand when I turned it on it automatically updated to 2.1. What was the solution for phones?

It's tough to create Powerpoints with Docs to Go. But, they can be viewed with and basic editing done by Docs to Go. Just load any ppt file you've created on your PC onto your PB, and then use any file browser to open the file- it will open with Docs to Go. If you want to create a Powerpoint, try installing Smart Office from app world or sideload Quick Office Pro or OfficeSuite Pro.
I don't think you can CREATE new powerpoint files. But you can open existing ones. Just open Docs-to-go and find a ppt file and open it.
Download CreatePPT. Its free.
Eh, missed that bit, did we? :)
