i recently updated my os on my playbook .i also updated my bridge software.but when i go to text a contact on my playbook i don't have a
"send "button .so i can't send my message to my contact .what am i doing wrong?

If you're talking about SMS then after you type your message to your contact, hit <enter> and it will send. That's how it works on my Torch as well. The only time I have to use an actual "send" command/button is for email.
