Ok, this is very niche I know (especially if you don't live in the land of hockey like me ) but basically an app that would use the microphone on PB and sound at 2 points over a pre determined distance between those two points then using calculations to determine velocity.
This is the basic concept that is used in a IPhone, not sure if Android as well, app.
I don't know anything about making apps but doesn't sound too complicated?
Am I wrong?

There have been some sound-related apps that were actually compiled for the PB (instead of just porting some android code) : you should contact the devs (see their emails in the app world). One of them is AudViz, which I bought and find very cool and helpful...
