yeah the dates dont match at this thing, basterds wouldnt let me hit the dl button, tell you the truth, RIM effed up at this thing, the staff knew absolutly nothing about the product, everything i asked the answer is tba. how the h e l l are you suppose to sell the product to oil company execs when ordinary ppl who read up on cb know more than the trained idiots, #fail. my bbm group for playbook thought the pic was bs untill i showed them my pass. i just went in to see if i could win a free one and came out angry, because of the trained idiots. staff all had pre production playbooks and all had diff os, some had current and some had the os b4 release date, they told me rim rolls out os for specific pb's what ever that means, to be honest i couldnt believe aword they were saying.

not at all, no one should assume anything, there was a pic from last week with a new os update and nothing, unless my pb has the update os highlighted, nothing is official.
This version looks like more like a dev build... there is no way the version could change so fast...
like i said the trained idiots didnt even know that there was an upgrade, "but" one of the trained idiots who has his own pb did get an os update to his pb that wasnt this # this morning, he said he had the 1710 b4 he updated, so inways i do believe RIM is rolling out os updates to diff models, i dont know how they are able to do this.
I don't think so, they are probably categorized.. and they release these builds by category. Remember a lot of units were shipped already with a username and pass, demo units, etc. When they shipped them, they probably just categorized the users.

I also visited AMP training session today and during training session when I asked about sd card files access, the guy told me that its working then he said do you have the latest update which was sent two days before? and I was stunned to hear that there was an update two days ago which I didn't receive? then he suddenly changed the topic and said we will discuss it after the session....but he did show on the screen during presentation the BB sd card folders and files and opened couple of them.
