I just bought another PB 32GB 4G LTE and the PB is awesome. The version is better than the WIFI version. The PB adequately meets my needs. I will still buy a third as a backup.

I like my Playbook very much. There are amazing deals now on used Playbooks. I've seen them under $100.

What I like the best and what really draws me back is the BlackBerry Bridge. Being able to do Texts, Emails, Notes and Web yet be linked directly to my phone is amazing. Like the integration very much. Honestly, without Playbook, I would have given up on my old Legacy Berry by now. Playbook renewed that interest.

The LTE Playbook didn't/doesn't have 2GB RAM. (It has 1 GB, like the WiFi version.) It does have a faster processor than the WiFi version, however.

I wonder if BB has a lot of Bob's Stock PBs in the warehouse? If they do, maybe they could or should do a special release to current owners and maybe a bonus for buyers of a current BB phone.

3 weeks ago gave up my BB phone 9780 for the new I-Phone 6 but I still carry my PB64 with me, I am using the WIFI hotspot from the Iphone to connect the PB by WIFI to answer mails in MS Exchange account.
but so many places provide free wifi nowadays, like doc office, hospitals, park, cafes
still have movies, pictures and music on the BB as I have 64 gb
plus the calculator comes quite hands
I have a keyboard and use it send longer email replies
and the BB fits in my jacket pockets

    That's great Hreiner1.

My S.O. just got an iPhone 6, but it's not for me. I had a 4s for a while and just didn't like it. I'm not an iPhone fan. I do like Windows Phone 8.1 with Cortana, but again.... I REALLY LIKE MY PLAYBOOK BRIDGED TO MY 9780. Checking emails, sending texts, doing notes and similar on the Playbook via the BRIDGE is quite simply the bomb for me.

I was about to get a 9900 when the new "Classic" was announced. My only issue is does the new QNX OP System have a decent BRIDGE VS the Legacy 9900. The 9900 would be a quantum leap from my 9780, but may opt for the new "Classic" if the BRIDGE to Playbook is halfway decent. Must have TEXT MESSAGE Bridging. That's a biggy for me.

I only use my PB for music streaming from 8 Tracks.

Other web stuff is done on my Kindle Fire or Samsung Tab S.

Pity, it could have been so much more.

    Hello,
Just got myself a LG Gpad 7.0 to test Android, and so far, I'm pretty pleased with it. Really fast, lots of apps, very nice screen (just HD but I like it), I've read the autonomy of the battery is very very good (something that's bothering me on my 2 PBs).
I'll keep my 2 PBs of course, but at home I think.

Recently bought a second, nearly virgin 16gb model for $45. Decided I would want to keep using PB for a while, as the messaging hub is so handy for me, and it does most of what I want to do with a tablet. I'll use that one more if the battery on my first one starts to crap out. I could have gone with a Nexus 7 for a replacement, but I just like the form factor and build quality on the PB, and I have all of the accessories, cases etc. I'll keep trolling the low end of the tablet world, just like I do in the notebook realm...
