AT&T typically blocks the use of Bridge Internet from the phone to the PB; at least they did for BBOS. Always had to wait for Rroyy to drop a non-locked Bridge back in those days.

Yeah, I pulled my sim before I updated to avoid that so I'm running v3.3.0.22. Just thought it was interesting that they put out a completely different version number. Looks like they're trying to trick people into downloading the AT&T version by giving it a higher version number.

So now my PB is showing 2 new text messages (which aren't on my phone), and when I try to load the text message one the PB (to get rid of the notification if nothing else), it spins and spins and never loads.

So I am stuck with a little notification icon and I still can't send or receive SMS on the PB.

I'm getting similar, the PB connects to the Z10, BBM works, Bridge remote control works etc but the SMS app opens but has a constant spinning busy circle. New text messages show up in it but if you close and re open the app on the PB they don't show up, just a blank screen and a constantly spinning circle

Same here.
I thought the SMSs had to load or sync or something... but it just keep spinning. I left it like that for a few hours.

Just to save everyone trying the same and wasting time,
Some of the things I've tried to get the spinning circle to stop and the SMS's to sync.

uninstalled and reinstalled bridge on the Z10
deleted and re-paired the Z10 to the PB
deleted and re-paired the PB to the Z10
deleted and re-paired the Z10 and PB via the Bridge setup
rebooted both devices
battery pulled the Z10

Nothing has helped. To me it HAS to be the Z10 as I have two playbooks and it's happening on both.

Just tried sms feature. Got the spinning wheel for a few minutes after I deleted the last synchronised sms thread from PB. Then it stopped. So far no recurrence. Could it have anything to do with the fact that I make a habit of deleting sms threads as soon as they're obsolete? Rarely store old threads on my phone.

Only appears to show unread sms. Doesn't load your phone's sms history or part of it. Spinning wheel is annoying. Bridge isn't really that useful after this update.

Loaded it on my Z10 running 10.1.0.2019 and now Bridge doesn?t work at all. Was working prior. Guess I missed the part about it being just for 10.2

That's strange, BlackBerry World shouldn't have allowed you to download it of your OS version isn't supported by the app. Having said that BB10.2 isn't listed in the description of the app as being a requirement.

Cab anyone tell me if they get just as fast up and download speeds on the playbook through bridge as they do one their bb10?

It seems that the speeds on my pb are much slower than on my z10

Anyone know if the speed is throttled down?

Back in the day, with my pb and torch, I had the same speed on both, but one if the updates, even back then slowed down the pb.

Any solution to the spinning circle and the blank screen?
I got the problem since the update I can send messages and when I send a text to myself on the PB the message appear sent and received and even loaded old messages from me to me but the spin is still there when I try to read incoming messages
When you send a text to a number it populates all the messages sent to that person and stays accesible but if you close the app and restart it goes blank with the spinning circle

I just noticed this just now when i got a text lol

Now i can create or reply to a text while streaming via hdmi without interruption
