Is the hub available through it now? I'm waiting for my new charger before using my PlayBook to find out.

I was able to send emails through the hub over this new update (last version bbm was broken with channels so I couldn't test)...

Have I missed something here, you can now use the hub? I thought it was just a one off. And you can send email using it? This is either a major wind up or someone needs to tell me how to do this.

You can see the hub (empty) by clicking on an email address typed into bbm (it has a hyperlink): this will open the hub.

From there you can compose and email (and it appears to have access to the phones address book too since it suggests email addresses from there).

Obviously a back door in, but they are (or at least were) building something!

Yes I just tried it and it works  sent an email. Surely this is something they are working on rather than a back door! Makes you wonder why no one came across it earlier, bbm has been on working over bridge for a while so surely someone has sent an email addy over bbm well before now.
We have access to accounts and contacts, please don't let them leave it at that. Like most things I find with Blackberry they are partial of stopping just short of something great :banghead: Has anyone approached an official Blackberry source to see if it was intended?

Awesome Nice to be able to see the half-completed Hub on the PlayBook

You can select different categories in the Hub but they all just say "Empty Folder"

Also there's a new icon for the "Select More" option.

What does "media card does not appear in playbook file manager" mean? I never knew we could access our media card files through the playbook when bridged?

Maybe that is why they fixed it?

You can access the SD card of your phone through bridge by means of the playbook file manager or third party apps such as ghost commander or files & folders.
For me it used to work. Then it didn't work at all anymore and then after wiping the playbook it worked again...
What I find interesting is that the German macberry website reported a while back that files can be transfered via bridge over a shared WiFi. It still needs bluetooth to know that bridge exists, but files can be transferred faster via WiFi: http://macberry.de/blackberry/faq/bl...-erforderlich/
    Interesting stuff.

I actually did just pick it up last week. I've hit the software update button several times to make sure I was current. Not until after the bridge update I received a notification on my pb for an OS update.

Not really sure, some people say better some worse. From memory I think the flash player was something that was updated. More importantly, it means someone somewhere is still doing stuff. It's just a petty we can't get to talk to these people and find out what intentions they have. Every thing we get seems to be it's dead then BlackBerry does something. It's all hearsay and Chinese whisper at the moment.
