It works as a standard BlueTooth mouse/keyboard. So it works with your PC and probably Mac, Droid or iDevice too.

I just connected to it from my Win7 machine. Then when you start Remote Control, it connects to the PC instead of the PB.

Seems finicky... The first time I tried it worked for a few seconds and then it said "My-PC (idle)" in the top right and wouldn't control my PC. Now it keeps connecting to the PlayBook

GREAT feature but it would be nice if you could pick which Bluetooth device to control if you are connected to multiple.

Nice. It's cool that RIM went with a standard protocol instead of making something limited to the Playbook. It definitely makes the Remote Control feature more useful, even for non-Playbook BB owners. Kudos to the RIM software engineer(s) that came up with the idea.

    Here's what I did.

Delete any pairing between your BB and PC.
Through your PC add a new device.
Once everything is installed let them connect.
Start Remote Control on BB and away you go.

Once the connection is terminated I have to turn off my bluetooth on the PC and turn it back on to get the connection working again.

    Using a BB 9900 and Windows 7.

I wonder if this would allow the BB Bridge Presenter mode to control a Powerpoint presentation on a Windows PC?

I can confirm it works for me. Windows 7 PC, Powerpoint 2010.

Mouse and keyboard via my 9810 works great on my PC. The mouse lags slightly, but it's probably due to the cheap bluetooth adapter I have because there's no lag at all when using my phone to control my PlayBook.

I managed to replicate the same thing you had here. The only difference is i can never reconnect without removing the device and re-adding it in Win7. Ohwell, cool feature... i'll be sure to have this setup for my next big presentation.

Oh, and presenter mode works great on PowerPoint 2010!

Do you mean Blackberry Bridge or another remote app? And do you think this will work for mac? I've. Tried a lot but Bridge 2 just freezes everytime and I have to restart.
