I update to the latest OS this morning after updating bridge last night. Now when i try to look at anything on bridge it will start to open then ask for my password. I put in password and about 20-30 seconds the messages or calendar or whatever i try to open in bridge will just close and crash to the main screen.

it says i'm connected etc to the phone in blackberry bridge on the phone and on the playbook.


Anyone else see this?

I too am having issues since the update (updated OS and Bridge app). The Bridge Browser and Bridge Files function fine, but all other apps (messenger, calendar...) will not open.

I even get a notification when I receive an email, but when I try to open Messenger via that notification - again the app fails to load.

I have a torch, no problems what so ever ... added new appointment, modified appointment all's good for me. Have BBM, Contacts, Messages and Calendar all open and running at same time.

no problems here either. feel bad for u guys. mine as absolutely flying compared to the last software version. clicking on a contact opens them instantly now so im loving the upgrade.

Have a Torch and on BES. Just updated Bridge and PB OS and no issues opening any of the Bridge apps. And yes! I can finally view my photos contained on my BB on my PB now.

I'm having the same issues here. I am on BES, with a Bold 9700.

I had no problems with the Bridge function after updating the Bridge this morning. It was only after the OS update that my Bridge functioning fell apart.

I need to get this fixed . . . and I'm sure others do as well!!

i have a friend who updated the OS on the playbook and not the bridge on her phone and she is able to see messages contacts etc. It's got to do with the phone.

All bridge apps except Browser and Files crashing on open for me after updating. I'm using a 9630 Tour using BES with Verizon.

Bold 9650/Verizon/BES Bridge stopped functioning after OTA. After tapping "Messages" a black screen with the "B's" comes up and then will time out shortly thereafter.

another thread says uninstall bridge on the phone and reboot then wipe the PB. Lovely!

No problems over here... I have a torch, and updated bridge yesterday and PB today... so far... all my apps work neatly and finally they did something about bridgefiles app and now it works like a file browser... very nice so far... I'll keep digging...

Have the exact same problem. I am on BES with Storm 2. Hope RIM get a fix out as I don't want to have to do the PB wipe that others are suggesting. Have already wasted two hours trying to get it working.
