Ohhh my bad. Thinking he was talking about bridge. My fault for thread hopping all these OS2.1 & Bridge threads.

I've got to do some things so hope OS 2.1 doesn't pop up until I'm back.

Don't be to quick to dismiss. BB Bridge got updated last night. It's only a matter of a few hours and depending on where on the planet you live when we'll finally see OS 2.1!

i just whiped my pb a little preemptively. after boot up it says looking for updates, finds os 2.1.0.560 as most current and asks if i want to d/l it now or later...

thing is i whiped from a beta 2.1.0.560. this now the version being offered, could it be what we were waiting for?

Sorry to say but hope that is not the version we are all waiting for. If it is those with the beta may have some fun doing the upgrade (beta is 2.1.0.840)

Certainly, they are not referring to slide loaded apps are they?
Are they referrring to apps that have been ported over and can be downloaded from App World?

You can now have multiple Android apps opened at the same time. A.K.A. Android multitasking.

I do wish people would stop mixing the threads up here.

This thread is NOT for the Bridge update - its for the main OS update.
Use the other Bridge thread if you want to impart success/failure re the Bridge update.

As I don't have another BB product, I don't give a stuff about bridge, and its confusing this thread.
