I already have the 50GB update, however it's limited by the fact that you can't upload any one file bigger than 100 mb I believe. Makes it pretty much useless for storing large files.

It also does not include synchronizing with the desktop and is therefore pretty useless for a lot of people.

No promo. I think it is the regular deal. If you go to Box for Personal and Download for Playbook it says 50G free. It also says files up to 1G. But you are all telling me this is not true?

DOn't forget it changes the time stamp on the file to be the upload time. So if you have photos or others that you care about knowing the date and time, be aware

You get 50gb free, period. Your upload size limite is 100mb.

The link you have is to gift 50gb storage to peers. i.e.: I work at Crackberry and therefore have a @crackberry.com account. If I invite people with @ crackberry.com accounts using that link, they also get 50gb, with or without a PB.

They are very different services. Besides, you don't see illegal download sites using Box.net/SugarSync and etc do you?

customer service is great but as mentioned above the lack of synching is problematic for me. that is why i am sticking with box drop and will check out microsoft's sky drive.

Look at my Signature (At the end of the message there is a link) you have first 10 gig Free ( And in the future up uo 50 gig ALWAYS FREE) with up to 2 Gig per files... Hard to beat, for me it's the perfect cloud to put my backup, just drag and drop and you can use the Android APK with the PlayBook !
