I paid 152.00 from Amazon for the new device. I have a 16GB. I guess I'm looking for reassurance I did not pay to much. Any thoughts?

Sometimes there is special discounts for 64 GB cheaper than this, but not by much. 152$ is a good price for what you can do with this tablet, though you know what it is since you had one!

I'd say that's a good price for a new 64GB PlayBook. Enjoy!
Nope. Thats a fair price considering the 16 go for 99$ now.
If all you ever use it for is the hdmi output and the ability to actually stream video in the browser, its worth it.
I pretty much only use mine for primewire.ag now
Yep, that's good for a NIB device.
Next purchase on my list.
Enjoy
Thanks guys. I thought is was fair price for NEW. I saw a clean used one on ebay for 120.00.
Fair price or not, it is an awesome tablet. I bought my first 64gb Playbook for full price on release day. Even when Blackberry started discounting it, I felt the value of what I received more than made up for any price premium. Enjoy and if you treat it well, it will treat you well for years to come.
Yeah that is a good price for a 64GB... I still use my PlayBook everyday.
I did purchase the new Nexus 7 - 2013 version and it also is great, I just wish that it had the BlackBerry gestures!
Apologize for off topic.
Deswayze: I sent you a private message regarding the Dlink 506L Router seeking some help. I don't know if you missed it or prefer not getting involved which is fine. F2.
Very cool. My 64GB PlayBook came yesterday. It came with a bunch of apps my 16 did not have. I obviously had to start with the new OS upgrade. Have everything on it but for my old school video games. 64GB shi+ I will never use all that space. So happy I took the plunge. Now I don't have to worry about what I download because of space constraints.
"64GB shi+ I will never use all that space."
Yeah, you will get close. Remember, for some quirky reason, these things have a tendancy to get a little finiky/slow when you reach about 5/7 gb left. I FULLY loaded one of my 64gb units for a trip to Alaska with movies. It did not like it. Only when I freed up about 5/7 gb did it come back to be the PB that I know and love.
Otherwise ENJOY it. Good pc. of hardware.

Thanks. Speaking of movies what source have you found to work best on getting movies to Your PlayBook? Thanks in advance.
Okay some more thoughts. It seems like my 64 runs a little faster. That could be in my head. Also when I did a back up from my 16. to my 64 all my third party games showed up? This has never happened before. The games in question are my commodore, snes and ps1. I had to side load the emulators but did not have to drag and drop the games. Also, I can not delete the wallpaper section in pictures. I could do this in the past with my 16. Just some thoughts.
I use Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate. Paid. Has a preset for the Playbook. and you can still tweak it to your hearts desire. I just Convert/Rip to Mpeg4 and then after it's done, drag/drop into Playbook. I also use DVD43 Free to get thru the DVD protection.
Works great.

I own a 16GB, so am curious to know the "new Apps" you discovered in your new 64GB... Could you please share? I might find them in the Blackberry World and "upgrade"... Thanks

I noticed Need for Speed. Tetris. BB news and a few others I have not tried. Looks like there is a movie rater as well. Also, anapp that may work with file manager. The Need for Speed was a pleasant surprise.
I'd say good price for any 64 gig device that is NIB... even the cheap throw away tabs are over 50 and have nowhere near 64 gigs
Not sure if this should go here. After having my new PlayBook for a week or so I have noticed my AOL mail is much faster. It responds to deletion of email and file saving much quicker. This could be because of the new OS? Or do you think its due to a new device?
NFS was always a free download for PB. I have Tetris on my 16 GB, too. BBRY gave away a few apps and a movie (Sherlock Holmes) once. It's too bad they didn't do more of this to generate interest in the PB.
Well congrats you have a great tablet; however I think you could really have got a 64GB for around 100 if you'd looked a tiny bit harder.
100 British Pound Sterling equals 160.11 US Dollar (per Google).
I've made a deal for a used 32 GB BlackBerry PlayBook for $150 that comes with a Rapid Charger, a Bluetooth keyboard and leather case, and a Zagg InvisibleShield. Apparently it is in "mint condition", though I haven't seen it yet and will probably meet up with the guy Saturday.
I saw the ad on Kijiji that was posted only a few hours before I saw it, so I quickly contacted the seller before someone else could. I've heard that Rapid Chargers sold for ~$60 retail and the keyboard for about the same, so do you think this is a good deal?

It's an excellent deal if it's in mint condition, especially if you are getting the OEM keyboard. Let's keep your fingers crossed the seller bought the bundle deal.
I don't know what keyboard it is, or even if the keyboard and case are a single unit. The guy didn't give any details, but I'm really looking forward to getting it--I couldn't afford anything else. I'd really like a Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but that's way out of my price range.
I told the guy that if it's not in mint condition or it's damaged I won't pay the full $150 for it.
