How I can see BlackBerry site in desktop view on PB?
This is interesting.
I can't even load the page. It used to work. PC access is there but the PB browser isn't loading the page. The other RIM sites appear to be working.
Their redirect pages are hit and miss. The touch.blackberry.com sites are loading but the us.blackberry.com and ca.blackberry.com will not load.
Odd!!
Just tried the Site, it came right up.
Clear cache? I can't really try.. My PB went to RMA for dead cameras after update..
Must be something going on, can't get Web.BlackBerry.com to load (that's where blackberry.com redirects me)...
Could it be... Preparations for BB10?! hehe
Miss and miss. You must also activate the javascript on your browser when it works.
Odd, for a few "refresh" cycles, it stopped on http://bogarttablet:8800/auto-detect.html with the "Could Not Resolve Host Name". Once I cleared the cache, it went to BlackBerry - Official BlackBerry - Tablets - Smartphones - Cell Phones - Mobile Phones - Apps at BlackBerry - US before getting "Could Not Resolve Host Name" error.
I can reach a bookmarked page a bit lower down, but when I try to get too the home page, it errors out again.
I also tried us.blackberry.com
Same issues here. Weird.
Gave it a try and it won't load for me either. Doesn't even start to load...just sits there until I get an error that the network is unavailable.
Honestly how can people claim that this is the most compliant browser when it chokes even on blackberry related sites?
Br.BlackBerry.com redirected me to touch.blackberry.com/br/pt/home.html which loaded fine. Since I have never seen such url before, I guess they are really messing up with the servers.
Can't make it connect to facebook at all, but was happening already, prior to this.

You are blaming the browser for a server-sided issue? Running out of ideas, are we?
Yes because it's not a server side issue. It can be accessed with other browsers.
Have you ever heard of browser ids? That's how the site knows that a touchscreen device has to go to touch.BlackBerry.com. So IT IS server sided. The server doesn't know where to point the PlayBook's browser.
I never said the server was down, or that other browsers were also affected, which they cloud or could not be, depending on which browser ids are being messed with.
