I'm trying to figure out if "3G access via existing BlackBerry smartphone service plan" means they are encouraging you to tether, or it will have a SIM slot. This is probably the only device I will wait in a line for.

It looks like you can tether with your BB device, and just use the existing plan on the account without adding on any additional plan. THIS LOOKS AMAZING! The other manufacturers are probably freaking out a little bit. lol

It will tether to a BlackBerry. You can use the same data plan and, more importantly, it will use the same efficient data delivery. The beauty is that Apple and the iPhone can never duplicate the internet performance without developing their own secure-server infrastructure.

You would have to tether, there is no mention of a 3G modem (It does say in the future it will have it though)

Booyah! This looks like a score. From what I've seen, integration with your existing BlackBerry device makes This a strong player in the field.

This is great! The specs are wonderful and everything seems very promising and better yet is the ability to tether with a Blackberry for data. I'm definitely going to pick one of these up when they're released.

No mention of pricing!!! Any speculation? And it also does not say what the internal memory storage will be, or whether it will have SD/MicroSD memory expansion compatibility, anybody know what we can expect?

Now I can go back to a real QWERTY device and maybe ditch the Storm line.

Not liking the huge bezel. Either make the screen bigger, or cut away some of that space. I know it's necessary for engineering purposes, but they've got to find a way around it.

1Gb of Ram, is that enough? iPad has min 16Gb.
    Also no memory card?

No the iPad has 16GB HDD, there's a difference between memory and storage.

I like the bezel. I want to be able to hold it without my fingers covering up the screen. It's personal preference I guess.

the biggest reason for a big bezel is to cover the backlight, but if they used an OLED or true-LED backlit screen they wouldn't need a bezel that thick. i wish they didn't go with the standard CCFL or edge-lit LED method

I think we were both wrong, it's Flash memory not a HDD!
OK so how much flash memory does it have ?
