Hello from the SS Marguerite on the Mekong River in Cambodia. I have toured Hong Kong. Macau. Vietnam and Cambodia with my BlackBerry Playbook and can report it is a fantastic experience. The Playbook connects flawlessly in hotels and on ship - is awesome as camera and video recorder and carries in my Tilley jacket pocket. There's a few iPads on this tour but they come out at night only - too awkward for day trips.

Wow, thanks for posting this. I am planning to visit Vietnam within the next year and was hoping the Playbook would be all I'd need for the trip, sounds like a winner.

I visited Chi Minh City in summer 2008 and my friends recommended the Mekong Delta bus/boat/canoe tour. It was amazing.

Thanks for posting your story - very impressive.

How cool. It must be nice to travel up the Mekong and NOT be on a gunboat. How times have changed.

That picture actually looks like how I remember the Mekong from way back in the day. Please continue with the pics, and maybe a bunch of food pics. Perchance you will be in Pleiku, or Saigon, or......

    Nice pictures.

    I've never been to Vietnam.

The playbook takes quality pictures in good light. OS2 should improve the picture taking experience - I don't like snapping the picture and waiting for those few 'shaky seconds'

This was taken a couple of days ago in Cambodia. These folks eat anything that crawls. Coackroaches, water beetles, black Tarantula spiders. Vietnam floating market is my next tour.

    Hello,
Thankx for the images! We'll be doing China in Febuary for 25 days. I'm not taking a laptop just the Playbook and Hyperdrives (for our Pro cameras) to download photos from our cameras along the way. I've shoot a little video and a few images with the playbook and plan to share as we travel through out China.
    Cheers, Terry
