The official PlayBook Bluetooth keyboard is horrible to type on.

Save your money and buy a cheaper 3rd party alternative. Or if it doesn't have to be in a case buy a good Logitech Bluetooth keyboard or similar.

I used to have the Blackberry mini keyboard. It was great while it lasted. It just stopped working one day, and never came back.

Having said that, I replaced it with the Microsoft Wedge Bluetooth Keyboard. It's not cheap, but we'll worth it. Pairs well, and types great. Pretty close to full-sized, and great build quality.

You may sacrifice some portability, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

Hey, I only bought the keyboard. I use my phone as the mouse, but it's not really a very good option. I only bought the keyboard because it was expensive. Although I might look into a mouse of some kind soon.

Apple Wireless Keyboard and Microsoft Arc Touch mouse worked well for me.

But really, I struggle to use my Playbook for much these days. It's a relic.
