    Hello fellow crackberry members i have yet buy a playbook but its really in my future. but one question thats on my mind is does the playbook get wireless access from your blackberry when connected?

    it's called "bridged browsing" or "tethering". You may want to do a search to find out how your carrier handles this function (I am in Canada, so I don't know for sure, but I understand that AT&T in the US blocks this function?)
    Also, some carriers will charge extra for data supplied through the tether.

    Most carriers in the US charge for tethering. Using the bridge app you will not have to pay the extra fee. That is the biggest benefit of the bridge app for me.

    The downside of using the bridge app for internet instead of tethering is that app world and some apps requiring internet don't work.
