Thanks for the feedback. I got a message that this app can't connect to a network, and no new content can be downloaded. I reistalled this app without success, and followed instructions to sign in to my BBID Account. Has anyone experienced the same problem?
I've only experienced issues with BB News like that.....when I wasn't connected to a network. Other than that, I've never really had any problems.
*I'm looking forward to see who will fill the void when Google Reader ceases to exist. It would seem like a perfect opportunity for BlackBerry to step it up with a nice redesigned BB News for the PlayBook and BB10.

Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling? Also, where do you live? Could it be a regional thing?
I have deleted amd reinstalled this app several times. My spouse's PB has the same problem which suggests the problem may be with Cogeco in the Toronto area. However, there are no other issues with our internet connection.
I found news republic app to be a better option for me
