'note os 2.1 or later!!.. lets hope the later version comes tomorrow!
unless.... just for a blackberry 10 device to be connected to the playbook, they had to update bb bridge in order for it to be compatible.. regardless of what os the playbook is running... previous bridge apps were only on the legacy os'... blackberry bridge 3.0 could just be a means for both the legacy os's and the new bb10 devices to connect to the plybook...
does not necassarily mean a bb10 playbook update,., i have just disappointed myself with this possibility. i am goin to sleep
for me,,, online=internal server error,,, appworld alt+RST=nothing,,, QRC brings me to current (2.xx.xx) version === there was a pretty spirited debate a while back about whether PlayBooks would get BB10 before or on release,,, IF,,, this is a Bridge/BB10 double whammy then it would be sooo awesome,,, & i'm generally not the kind of guy to say i toldja so, BUT,,, in this case i'd make an exception,,, for now i'll temper my expectations & think that this is just so that all devices, 6.0 & above, will be able get their bridge on...:yes:
I seen it in app world but playbook LTE bought in dec 2012 not supoorted device
This might just be compatibility for the Dev Alphas when they receive the final build of BB10 tomorrow so they can bridge the Devices to the PlayBook.
Naw i thought pb needs update but its for phones only here app world link BlackBerry World - BlackBerry Bridge
This 3.0 version says its only a 868 KB file. Legacy OS bridge usually is a couple Mb 2-3
Something isn't right with this. Must be just for BB10 phones but it does say for OS 5 and up...RIM your killing me lol!

I'm saying that this might be to get the Bridge app working on the Dev Alphas and BB10 because as of right now it shows that it is incompatible.
Ah ok i get ya now, so does PB need this update at all or is it just the phones like ever

Okay someone got it installed on a dev alpha...I'm thinking haz nothing to do with legacy os sorry :(
My buying a z10 phone will be based on the preview i get on playbook.
how about we all just sit back..relax..wait..and be ready for wh- I NEED MY BB10 NOW RIM NOW NOW NOW 13 HOURS IS TOO MUCH
That's a pretty slick idea. Nice!
well my phone is giving me an update to v.2.1.0.32.(3 mg)
There are going to be a lot of disappointed people here when the PlayBook OS update comes in the next few days and it's version 2.1.0.xxxx and is just an update to make it compatible with BB10 phones.
my phone is giving a v.2.1.0.32 (3mg) guess my phone is behind the times
god i hope the BB10 is all they say my poor phone has about seen its better days
^^^^^ what do you mean "later version"
that's the price you pay for speculation. at least they are having fun with high hopes tonight:)
I went to this link with my PlayBook
BlackBerry World - BlackBerry Bridge
And this appeared:

Does it mean anything?
Software (new and updates) are released on Tuesday. If we haven't seen it today we won't until the next cycle.

Not true. The last few updates were not on tuesdays.
