Just got the update.
10.2.1.1925 and never going back.
Changelog says it fixes notification issues that affect some users.
It doesn't appear to fix the presenter mode issue.
Just got it. Nice!

Now from you playbook you can see all your BBM contacts. Still cannot get into channels. As for text messages, unless you save your previous dialogue from all your contacts, you still cannot search contacts from within.
The ability to answer an incoming call using the PlayBook mic/speakers would be a great little feature. Probably easy to implement, too.
Hope BlackBerry consider this.

You can now action incoming calls from PlayBook, but microphone/Speaker still with phone.

uninstall it on your phone then download it again. Just tried it and the new version is available. Also fixes the no notifications issue.
Showed no new version for me until I uninstalled the old one.
People can laugh at me all they want, but I'd really like a PlayBook (stand-alone - why carry two devices, when one will do?), that one could make calls with -- I use a bluetooth headset and there are the speakers, but I would bloody well hold that 7"+bezels slab up to my ear, if necessary - detractors be damned. :P
(On my second day with a Z30 and frequently wishing BB10 would look and operate more like BB TabletOS. :P -Miss the screen real estate too; fingers like a bunch of bologna sausages don't agree well with tiny tiiiny keys... :P)
Still not receiving notifications properly on the PlayBook. Keeps disconnecting. Never had problems with reading files on the z10

Arrr, Seawarriorrr -- I had actually seen that thread, but didn't throw in my voice, because I really, really want the PlayBook to be self sufficient, not just UI supplementary - there IS (was) an LTE PlayBook model, after all; and I'd severalfold increase my efforts to get hold of one, if it was a "phablet" rather than just taking an additional data path...
It strikes me to wonder, how "oversized" phones, offered by other manifacturers, are doing with the elderly, many of whom would conceivably benefit from the form factor.
Right now I might settle for Bridge, though... :7
Recently blaze post a link for suggestions to blackberry consumer group, official as well. Wanting suggestions and ideas on how to make products better. Makes me wonder what sort of replies we would get if all the PlayBook users jumped in there.
Might get some clarification on intentions from an official source if nothing else.

@Ruben1975 @1oo1 I am on AT&T with an unlocked Z10 and the version of Bridge available contains the "100" in the middle of the version. This version blocks the ability of the PlayBook to use your phones internet connection. I found that by deleting the Bridge, removing the sim card, connecting to WiFi and searching for Bridge in BlackBerry World, gives me the correct, non-blocked version (without the "100" in the version #). Once you put the sim card back in, BlackBerry World will show an update available to the blocked version, but just ignore it. Hope this helps.

well i would suggest someone shouldn't have to go through the exercise noted in the post above to get an offiical update. Maybe when then conquer that dragon they could address the playbook.
For a software company that little exercise outlined above, is what some would call a clusterfook
That "clusterfook" is to avoid one particular carrier's version of Bridge that disables a feature they charge for. Not BlackBerry's fault
