I sense the impending death of many trackpads. Death by over use.

you type and nothing happens or you have no keyboard displayed?
I have the keyboard displayed on the phone, and the character i type appear on the phones screen, however they do not appear in the body text of an email.
This is using BES by the way, not sure if it's enabled for that yet.....

Anyone else not having an update for the BB Bridge on their phone? I have a 9860 and even if I manually go in app world, there are no BB Bridge update, I'm stuck at version 1.0.7.4.

I guess no remote feature for me until this gets resolved.

Open App world, go to "My World" then press the menu button, and select "Refresh"
    Should show up.

It doesn't work for me either, bold 9700 bb5.whatever. Maybe the phone's os?

I don't want to upgrade to bb7 because a friend of mine did, it takes a huge amount of memory for older hardware & it caused him to lose all his msg history shortly after upgrading (& it didn't keep his sounds & other settings). I realize this is a little off-topic, but in case some people are tempted to update their phone's os, in light of all this new blackberry software flying around... I've got old hardware, soon due for replacement, so at this point I'm thinking I'll hold out for a bb10 phone & be sure my hardware's up to the task (I'm tempted to commit now to a 9900, but waiting 6 months might mean a better-featured phone than even a 9900, I'm thinking).

Btw, I don't have an Hdmi cable yet (I really don't know why), but I surfed to this page & typed this post entirely on my phone, using the bb's wifi browser- VERY cool.
I've got an order pending with BestBuy (we shall see - none in stock) for the 9930 for Verizon. I want a keyboard phone and so the first bb10's will probably be touchscreen. I'm sticking with OS5 on my Bold/9650 since I like ColumnView for the browser - otherwise the fonts are too small or you have to do left/right scrolling.

Oh, well, so far I kind of still like my 9650 and could deal with it for a few more months.

I use a 9780 and after updating my playbook to 2.0 the remote control seems stopped working-cannot connect (in 9780 I use the newsest brigde 2.0)
Yesterday with the old PBook os was working just fine......what happened?

Presentation mode issue (with OS1 still on pb). In viewing photo albums, you can move forward (next) but not back (previous) it only works one way. Shall see if this changes with OS2 which is now installing on my pb.

One thing I notice is the scroll-lock doesn't work in some places such as BBM bridge and Facebook and it's a real PITA to keep holding for 2 seconds, scroll, hold, scroll.

Edit - Disabled drag and lock. So much better to click and scroll.

I don't think you can, plus it wouldnt be a good thing for BB sales.

That does not seem to be working for my 9650 (os5)
It appears that the Bridge Setting "always use trackpad as mouse" needs to be unchecked for this to work. I have edited my post to include this.

Not sure if to scroll when connected to your computer has been mentioned. All you need is two fingers on the touchscreen to scroll. To have a better control of the scrolling, have one finger stationary while another finger does the scrolling.
