Hey Bla1ze, can you do us a favor and run a test on the Playbook with Blackberry 10? If you have to use one of the Dev Alpha versions would be fine so we can get a general idea on it's performance with the 1GHz and 1GB specs since it causes some worry rather an actual Blackberry 10 or a Blackberry 10 Lite would come to it. I seen it in a few thread's and it also makes me question rather to get a new Playbook or not since I don't have my 16GB anymore. Also would you make a video of it so we can see how it compares? Many thanks for this.

There is no video though as far as I could find showing it actually in use on the Playbook.

We already have at least a rough idea, because the Dev Alpha devices were pretty close to PlayBook spec. The answer I can give on that is that it ran, and I think it represented an improvement over OS 2.1. Compared to the Z10, though, it was noticeably rougher and there were many more force-close events, likely because the DAs had only half the RAM of the Z10.

We might see the PB limited to only 4 active programs at a time with BB10, which would be a bit of a bummer but overall I'm still looking forward to it.

I would just like to see active sync work for calendar and contacts along with full bridge and a cross platform solid working video chat app. I know, I know Skype is supposed to coming and Face Flow along with others are there but not seamless in their operation.

If this is true then current playbook owners will not see BB10 update until at least July 2013 as Blackberry would want the new tablet selling BB10 before updating the OLDER ones. I would be very surprised if we see the older ones updated soon or before any new tablet launch.

I for one will not ever buy a new one if the BB10 update comes after a new tablet launch.
