    No, it simply does not know how to talk to the screen. Mine isn't frozen; look at previous posts and you'll see that I managed to get output out of it.

    Someone had wrote in the youtube comments that their PlayBook would output to hdmi and not to the screen itself until doing the thing in the video. I thought it would be silly if it worked even if it showed partly on the screen like in a 7" screen resolution

    Not trying to be impatient, but it's been about 6 months since the last update......I know you'd probably tell us if something significant happened but I just wanted to bump this thread anyway!

    I could have any tablet money could buy but I stick with my PlayBook everyday. Would love to drool over some 10 inch playbook pics!

    Haven't really had much time to play with this still. The most exciting BlackBerry thing I did was converting my Cyclone prototype into an IP webcam viewer for a friend.
