It appears that Rim may offer a keyboard with a trackpad and case as an accessory. Maybe next month with the release of OS2. But as with many things Rim, seeing will be believing. Also, it is not expected to be cheap.

I enjoy the Bluetooth keyboard included with the BlackBerry Leather Portfolio Case from Hip Street and the Bluetooth mouse from Logitech.

Truth is, none of the current bt keyboards work all the well with the PB. Maybe os2 will change that, but your best bet would be to wait for the OEM keyboard.

Ummm... as I said, the Rii keyboard and trackpad work really well - no issues there.
The trackpad is excellent for using logmein as ones RDP app, as it allows you to control a windows PC and its small icons etc in an accurate way, which is otherwise difficult due to the size of the human fingertip.

I saw one featured on this website - it started with a "z" and retailed around 79 - does anybody remember the name or have the link?

i bought the nexxtech BT keyboard at The Source for $29.99 and it works very well if you are typing without stopping. If you stop for a while it tends to disconnect so you have to reconnect it... but i honestly dont mind. it is a full size keyboard (without num pad) and works better then i thought it would for $30

can anybody confirm whether or not the os6 blackberrys can be used as keyboard and mouse or is it os7 devices only?

i dont see why the os6 should be excluded as the keyboard and mouse feature is a bridge feature which can be updated on os 6.

What can I say, I already have a full size BT Keyboard that I could use. However the Dinovo Mini is just super, it has a nice touchpad as well. I purchased a refurb unit for $70 and find it works great. In the future with OS2 I am sure I will also use my handset but this is easily thrown in the bag with my playbook.

Has anyone tried the AmazonBasics bluetooth keyboard? It's got good reviews, but is meant for iOS devices and I can't find any mention on the web of anyone pairing it with a Playbook, except for one Amazon review that casually mentioned it being able to pair:

I have looked at the specs of these recommended, and the new BB one, but are any of them big enough to type with out hunt and peck?

I got the Verbatim fold up BT keyboard, and it works just fine with my Playbook and iPad. It folds out to a full KB size, so touch typing is not a problem.
