I don't agree with, or disagree with, everything they said but I am reporting for your viewing pleasure...
Bright future: Good solid device, better than competition, initial wifi only device has no carrier interference so it will be rapidly improved and added with features quickly. Basically everything it was .eant to be.
Launch a fail: BBM not already implemented at launch (major appeal of blackberry), many features that would qualify this device as "enterprise ready" are not implemented already, a non blackberry user at this point in its life has no use for it except as a wifi enabled browser.
Flowers or flames?

They should have had BBM ready at launch and GPS ready at launch for sure, as well as other things. Its obvious that RIM did not put the resources (i.e. manpower) needed to get this thing ready in time. My hope was that they were missing the original Q1 target to get us a near flawless experience, but that obviously wasn't the case. At least great hardware is all there and hopefully they are hiring a lot of Software Engineers to address Tablet OS, OS6.1 and "Highlander".
too funny...if this thing hadn't launched when it did, the SAME people would be *bishing* out RIM...now you got a device, and there are some "bugs" - as with ANY 1st Generation device, and they are STILL *bishing* at RIM.
Once again, the masses are impossible to please...

Really? Have you seen the iPad sales, lines, and waiting lists? Have you seen the customer satisfaction ratings? The masses are most definitely not impossible to please.
One major problem whether you accept it or not, but you only get one chance to make a first impression.
Very few people will come back after all the bugs are fixed and features that should already be there are added. Especially since some other "latest and greatest" device will be out by then.
Were this actually true, no one would own an iPhone.
All bow down to the mighty ipad................... not, but I do have to say it is a nice device for a larger ithing.
I guess I missed it and when apple first came out with their products there was nothing missing or promises of it being there at a later time since it was all ready perfect and ready to go.
