This isn't about the suit itself, yea I know it was reported more than .00001 seconds ago so its old news so whatever, I just want to know why wi-lan thinks rim breached a patent due to the blackberry bridge. Any legal types have input?

For the 99% of the population that isn't plugged into everything and learns it all instantly, here is the news...

Wi-LAN is a patent troll. They are also suing for the symbol key.

Well I just can't see how this is a patent infringement. I dunno. I certainly don't know all the patent laws.

Neither do I but this company has a nice little track record of suing companies for supposed infringements. Cases filed matching "wi-lan" :: Justia Dockets & Filings
