just wondering if in the blackberry 10 bbm will come to the playbook so if you dont have a blackberry phone you can subscribe and use bbm on the playbook.

BBM has been rumoured to be coming to the Playbook for quite a while. I'm not sure exactly what current plans are, but I would expect that at the very latest it will be added when the Playbook gets BB10 sometime after the BB10 phones are released.

It's coming to PlayBook for sure and I imagine with BBM now being tied to your BBID you will be able to subscribe to it like BBM MUSIC.
One thing is for sure, it won't be a free service.

It could be a free service, email on the PlayBook is free. It might cost RIM a couple dollars, but if they start charging for BBM they might get some bad press.
Maybe they'll require you to have a BlackBerry with a BIS plan to use BBM on the PlayBook?

I was also thinking maybe having a bis plan would be a requirement. If so, that would be very cool. Either way I'm looking forward to PlayBook getting a full blown make over.
