They keep updating the bridge apps on the z10, in fact in 1880 there 5 unnamed bridge apps I hadn't seen before. ...

They don't on my Z10 and I wasn't alive in 1880. Well I was but don't tell anyone.

Are you sure, the apps are rev'd at 10.1.0.52...on release 10.1.0.1880...? they just need a playbook update to utilize...why would they keep updating them if they don't plan on doing something with the playbook...BBM, calendar, tasks, messages, memos and 5 additional bridge apps on my z10.
They can't be seen unless you are using a tool like the chrone playbook extension....

I don't know which planet you live on but in my world I am running 10.1.0.273. Bridge being nothing to do with the OS as it is a separate app on the Z10, I have recieved one update since I received my Z10 (day of release), and I am running bridge 3.0.9.11. The last update according to RIM was to make it compatible with the Q10.

If you look at the apps installed on your z10 (using the playbook extension for chrome), there is a bridge app (3.0.9.11) but there are also system/bridge interfaces 10.1.0.52 sys.bridgeApp01 or 10.1.0.31 sys.bridgeBBM or...what is the purpose of these if not to have further bridge functionality? there is no reason to have these on the z10 currently, if not for a future update to the playbook.

Take look for yourself, they keep getting updated (were originally at 10.0.9...)

Before going into the technicalities of the app itself and it's separate interfaces, just tell me if there has been only two updates rolled out for the Z10 OS since its release, one of them a very minor update and only one update to the bridge app itself, how can bridge "keep being upgraded"?

There have been about 5 os updates in the last 2 weeks for the z10...have you been reading crackberry? I've probably 8 or more revisions of the OS since getting my z10..each with a slightly different version of the sys.bridge***** apps that are part of the OS (not the bridge app itself)
