hey just bought the playbook couple of days ago and looking to find some great shares on this site gotta say I'm a little surprised and disappointed theres not too many apps for this tablet but im hoping that will change soon...

but to celebrate my new device I made some wallpapers that I would like to share with you guys and to say hello! hope you guys like them!

Welcome to CrackBerry and congrats on your PB decision.

There arent a lot of apps for the PlayBook as of right now, but they are working on that by porting Android apps over. Its actually nice, because we dont get stuck with 1000 fart apps or the apps like pop my pimple.

But youre right, there could be more and that has already been heavily discussed.

hey I was wondering if we could have a section just for wallpapers and other grafX so we dont have to scour the forums for wallpapers and have multiple posts to go through when we can go in just one place...just a suggestion

There is a wallpaper section. I don't know where they come from or how to submit them.

so can anyone explain this os2 thing thats supposed to come out next feb? i keep seeing ppl post about how they are really looking forward to it, especially with the andriod player. but what is the andriod player? whats it do? anybody know? =P thanks

thanks for the thanks guys! appreciate it! hope it won't be bothersome but I plan to contribute more walllpapers as days go by, so I hope that wont be a problem, I got a problem with making wallpapers, once I get going I can't stop! LOL I swear I gotta see somebody about this...LOL

A tip for new comers on this thread, to make it your wallpaper:

Put your finger on the image and don't lift until you get a pop-up window.
Select "Save link as", click on "Save" button
Go to pictures app
Select downloads group
Select your desired picture, swipe down from top bezel, and click on "Set as wallpaper"

A suggestion before you get too carried away...would work better if the original canvas was sized to the native resolution and aspect ratio of playbook display?

1024 by 600 pixels...wouldn't want you to waste your talent.

I read numerous posts in here about that and peeps have said its 1024x1024 because when U turn it upright, but I will remember for the next walls I make

just wanted to ask you guys I got a couple of more idea's for wallpapers and wanted to know, do you guys prefere them in 1024x1024 or 1024x600 more? if so I will convert my other walls to the latter format....

why is it changing it?
