    Every day or so I need to reboot my playbook to get my audio working. It's a little slower than usual too. Reminds me of using Android.
    I hate to think something I installed.did this or that the updates are making the playbook buggy.
    Anyone else have this problem?

    The problem has been discussed in other threads, and seems to be a bug introduced since OS It should be reported at 'help@blackberry.com' by the OP so that it gets their attention, otherwise it will never be fixed by the former RIM as witnessed by the lack of any more updates from them.

    It is not easy (or possible?) to revert back to former versions. You might want to examine what apps included sideloaded that might have caused it.


    The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"

    I had this problem after the last update. No sound and the counter wouldn't move on the music player. I wanted to wipe it anyway for unrelated reasons. After a debrick the problem never came back.

    I wiped and started fresh. I certainly did lots of things in the dingleberry days to get email on my device that merit a wipe. Oddly enough, after the wipe an update became available that wasn't just prior to the wipe.
    My PlayBook seems to be back to its former lovable self.
