    Now my PB requires a software update every time I reboot. I have to reboot 3 or 4 times a day because it runs so slow. After I reboot I can get to the APP World splash page which also requires an update. But it flames out as soon as I try. I freakin hate this thing.

    What software version do you have? Have erased or deleted any apps? Sometimes there are core apps, if they are deleted the pb will try to restore them by offering, repeatedly, updates for the OS.

    As for the slowness - what apps have you loaded? Any sideloaded Android apps? How full is your pb - that is how much free space do you have and how much working ram?

    This thread is about Appworld or BBworld.

    Do you have troubles with it or powering on your pb?

    Did you allow the battery to run down too far? What happens if you try charging it? Any led colored lights?

    And you might want to start a thread or join one of the existing threads on such things and look for Stack Charging advice.

    Exact same issue here. I connect over WiFi...and I have the latest OS. Rebooted many times. App World remains seized in that rainbow vomit graphic. This blows.
    Hi Mark. I was able to rectify my issue by registering my PB with BlackBerry and then getting on Rogers' network. See this thread:
