Ok so it seems like the blackberry mini keyboard case is very similar to the convertible case. can anyone who's used it comment on the usability of the volume/power buttons?

the convertible case is very stiff making those buttons very hard to use

I don't find those buttons too bad. They function ok for me.

What's worse I think is the lack of flexibility in the rubber ring that holds the PB in the case. It should be a little easier to take the PB out and go naked I feel. (I've learned that I prefer this for reading, surfing etc.)

The keyboard button is behind the elastic holding it to the case. Stupid design flaw! And all the elastic on the thing says CHEAP in my opinion.

Otherwise it works ok - I'm happy with it.

The media buttons work perfectly and Willard has a point that it should be easier to take out the PB. Not that it is difficult but that it should be the other way around :

Currently it is easier to remove the keyboard than the pb

It should be easier to remove the PB and more difficult to remove the keyboard.

It's not a huge thing though.
