I don't think that one works on a PlayBook. It is an Android version. I was looking for the PlayBookOS version. Have you got it to work on a PlayBook? I am pretty sure I tried that version a while ago and it didn't work.

The GoodeReader site is not very reliable with categorizing Android apps that work on a PlayBook. A lot of theses will work on the BB10 phones, but not the PlayBook.

I found the Slacker bar in the thread linked below, post #20 . It has a Mega link to the apps in the stock 2.1.0.1526 OS. It is the same version that was in the last PlayBook OS. I sideloaded it and Slacker is on my PlayBook again and working.

No, because my PlayBook finally bit the dust. I bought it in 2011. The battery inside got swollen and expanded like a balloon. So, needless to say it's dead. Got my use out of it though. Really enjoyed using it. Not sure what tablet to get next. But I'm not willing to spend my money on an iPad.

I'm still using my PB as an alarm clock and I download music and movies so I can have them on the go.

I know I hated how the playbook just didn't work for most things, but I'm starting to miss it...
If I'm sure I can get movies on it, then I'm sold.
How do you all watch movies with the PlayBook?

Don't see the issue. I hook up the USB to my computer, it shows up as a removable drive, I drag & drop things over.
Works fine for any video I've ever tried. I often bring it with me on trips to watch movies or other TV series that I've downloaded

I have a Passport, Leap and Priv, but the PlayBook beats them all for audio quality when video recording street bands.
Also still very useful when paired with a mini Bluetooth keyboard for Excel spreadsheets when carrying a laptop is not suitable.

Never checked the file size, but I have full length feature films on there at the full DVD resolution. I do not think any exceed 2GB file size, but not sure. Biggest might be around 1.8GB is my guess...

I still use my PlayBook almost daily. I download MP4 videos from EasyNews.com for movies and music. I use it for games such as Solitary, Spades and Hearts card games. It is also my only device I use now for Adult movies/vids on steaming sites from Europe. Two thumbs way up!

I used mine about a month or so ago as a picture frame at a gathering. Some folks brought photo albums or pictures. There were a couple of laptops cycling through pictures and then there was my Playbook setup with FilesAndFolders on a charging dock for a continuous slide show with keep screen on. My setup was the neatest. I only saw maybe a couple of people wondering about what it was.

4 PB still working, all on WiFi only. App start phase out one by one, but use Web only somewhat OK. Some website not support bb10. Learning to work around it.

The Playbook still ranks as one of my best technology purchases. My wife and I both use them. They are the best reader I have. I use mine a couple of hours a day at least. I've been a bit of a nut about sticking with DRMfree epub and Moonreader (an android app) still is the best book reader I've ever used, Amazon kindle is laughable in comparison. Up until last year when Drop box became unavailable, it would sync my reading between my playbook and my passport.

Today, because my old playbook is starting to show some funny display issues, I'm setting up my back up playbook (lol Yes I have a backup playbook) and hope to keep using it for a long time yet.

Playbook still rocks and it was the best $150.00 I ever spent on a computing device.

P.S. I still have 4 old BB bolds in stands around the house, beautiful clock and I use them often to control my squeezebox music server (yet another fantastic product killed by much inferior products).

Android DropBox ver. 2.3 converted to .bar and sideloaded still works great on the PlayBook. Not sure if it will sync the way you want it to but I still use it from time to time on my old PlayBook. I have Box, DropBox and OneDrive all working on a PlayBook. If anyone is interested they can drop me a PM with an email address and I can email the .bars.

Bridge still works to connect a Z10 to a Playbook. It has a Remote Control function, which would allow for control of the Playbook from the Z10.
