I had some friends I used to watch UFC PPV's with way back when who are back in town this weekend. I don't have cable TV, but want to get the event. Has anyone purchased a PPV and watched it on the Playbook (connected to the TV with HDMI)?

I noticed there is a sideloaded UFC.tv app as well. Anyone tried it?

I am just wondering what the best method would be for a reliable stream. Or if I should just get a cable for my laptop, hardwire it with ethernet, and hook it up to the TV.

    Thanks for any input.

No stream is reliable. Do the laptop thingy to insure your guests have a pleasurable experience. Or just jump on the tubes and see what bar is showing the fight and go make a night of it.
