Stan Lee would be turning in his latest cameo if he heard that.

The Iron Man movies... Robert Downey Jr stars in those...he plays Tony Stark. Iron Man 3 is being made now I think.

I guess you would feel like Tony Stark if it was your first piece of technology that youd ever seen in your life, or were over 60 years old.

Unfortunately I don't - I've come to realize aside from watching streaming video from some websites...
...And using the Playbook Video Chat ( which REALLY rocks BTW ).
...The rest of the playbook experience is an amalgamation of the Gong Show and amature hour.

The PDF reader is absolutely infested with bugs and can't even load and display what my iphone has no problem with...
...The email experience ( while much appreciated ) is also amature hour.

For the price I paid for two 16gb Playbooks and what I'm using them for I'm ok with it...
...But I doubt people like me are going to save RIM.

Very true, but I think it was Jake Sisko of DS9 who first introduces the idea of reading a book on one, and writing as well.

Don't worry too much about him. I think he has given up on his PB twice and visits about once every three weeks now.

Not too worried, just attempting to keep the light humour which was intended with the thread...and to give us geeks something more to show our nerdiness.

Actually started this thread because I found myself watching the 2nd movie last night and laughed at the scene where he hijacked the monitors to show how far behind research was. It reminded me of when I used remote desktop to hijack a computer in the middle of a presentation to show the presenter what they had lost.
