I'm looking for a NAS device that supports the PB. Most NAS devices I found support iOS and Android with apps but I can't find any that support the PB.
Has Anyone had any success using a PB to view content from a NAS?
the readyshare usb connection on my netgear router is viewable but not stream-able through the web browser. i can download files from connection though.
WD MyBook live has a web interface. You just browse to it's IP address on a specific port and then you can browse through music, pictures and movies. But it's not good for playing a whole album.
The best solution is to install OS2 developer and then install ES File Manager in the Android Player. It can browse any NAS using SMB (a simple file share). From there you can swipe to pictures while enjoying background music. Videos do work too!
