Haven't found one yet, despite looking around in the app store.

    Any leads?

    Thanks

Does Print2Go not do what you need?

(Print anything from your PC to a .pdf onto your playbook)

UrlToPDF - it's an android port in app world. Just copy and paste the webpage address and it will convert it to pdf.

Thanks re: the recommendations about UrltoPDF and PrinttoGo.

I haven't been able to get PrinttoGo installed on my desktop (the install process hangs) and I haven't found a solution by searching in these threads yet.

P2Go installation on the backburner until I have more time. I'll check out UrltoPDF.

Indeed print to go's desktop client have a lot of issues (e.g your firewall, antivirus, BBID, workgroup, etc)

Finally, after few months of tweaking I was able to print on PtG , but I can't remember what I did for it to work. This app has a lot of potential, RIM was a fan of creating mediocre softwares Hope they do it right this time for BB10.

With the variety of Windows versions on various service packs, myriad network configurations, combined with a unknown combination of anti-virus and malware scanners, are you sure the problem is only in RIM's software? There's a lot of possibilities for the cause of the problem...

Just spent a few minutes with urltopdf so can't make definitive conclusions.

    However, so far, so good.

One pleasant surprise is that it creates some live links within the .pdf files it creates.

    Thanks for the lead.

P2Go is a great little app. Don't recall if I had any trouble installing it on my PC. It's one of things that makes my PB useful. I put all my travel documents/tickets, etc. on it. Don't need net access as you do with Dropbox.

PrinttoGo used to work just fine until a month ago, when it suddenly would hang - eventually I found that my AVG antivirus was blocking it on my Win7 machine. And I found out the hard way that it isn't part of the 'full' backup for the PlayBook.

I have found that temporarily diaabling antivirus will allow the installation of PrintToGo

I am still looking for an app that can do this.. URLtoPDF is good start but often I need to print something like a payment confirmation, where the link will not be valid after you close and re-open the browser, or paste into another application.

In portrait mode, can you screenshot the screen (pressing volume up and down at the same time)? Then turn the image into a PDF using some kind of PDF creation app? In reading your reply, I am unclear as to if you indeed want the link to be valid or not. I am interpreting it as not and then a screenshot would work.

The other alternative is to install Maxthon Browser from app world, and then also install the add on Maxthon screenshot assistant, also in app world. The advantage of the Maxthon screenshot assistant is that it allows you to save a screenshot of the entire webpage, not just the visible part as taking a normal screenshot does.
Attached Thumbnails Any apps out there that print/publish web pages to .pdf-1365788415412.jpg

Yeah thats probably the best option available. A single screenshot via the volume keys may not get everything in the frame of one screenful. Still not a searchable pdf, but definitely the next best thing.

--- Only thing is, it looks like Maxthon browser is available for the PlayBook only, not on BB10 yet... Helps for the PB, the search continues for the Z10...

Just in case anyone has landed here via search terms, here's a quick, simple solution:
Copy the URL of the page, open new tab in browser, go to Print Friendly & PDF and paste the URL into the space "enter a url". You can also hit parts of the page you don't want it to print (ie, ads, etc) and it will churn a PDF for you to download. I've used it for business for quite a while now and keeps neat tidy webpages stored as searchable pdf's.
