    Updates are available, just no new updates. Thus, if you wipe your Playbook, BB's servers are still up and will allow you to update your OS/apps to the latest available.

    Am I still able to receive updates for my Playbook?-img_00000004.png

    There will be no functional OS updates but I really never saw where they wouldn't give security updates. I was thinking the government still used them but I could be wrong.

    Even the browser barely works... pages like YouTube are not supported by the native PlayBook browser.

    Correction... Google's YouTube have chosen to exclude the PB Browser as a supported browser!

    If you use an alternative, eg. Simple Browser or Origami Browser and change the browser agent ID to something like IE, YouTube works just fine!
