Whoosh! You missed the sarcasm in the comment to which you replied. The knife reference is/was a common way to get the ketchup to start flowing out of the glass bottle by inserting the knife into the opening and "breaking the vacuum effect of the very thick ketchup. Now that I have explained it I feel dirty for feeding to sarcasm-impaired.

Bug fixes would get me excited. Mine is quite buggy.

-fix the lag and delay issues (especially with the keyboard and native menus)
-fix the music player bug that has mucked up itunes playlists

That would be enough to get me excited. Add in a 'mark all as read' button in the messages app and the ability to direct sync with outlook and I will be thrilled

I really hope its more than bug fixes.

Run some tests for me. Have your BlackBerry Phone and your Playbook handy.

Open "Messages" on your BB Phone.
Open "Messages" on your PlayBook.

Then do the same for Contacts, Calendar, Browser, ETC.

If the PlayBook OS doesn't have some HUGE speed improvements then I have no faith RIM will have BB10 up to speed anytime soon.

The last update was about a month and half ago so what are people on about?
In a beta yes that is enough time but for official updates people need to be realistic.

When the PB was first released, updates seemed to be coming out monthly before the held things up for the big OS2 rollout.
