Will we ever get anything similar to Airprint for the Playbook?
My friend is teasing me how he can do that while my tab can't.
I'm jelly now.
A simple Hp e-print will do the job but it's only available for Blackberry Phones.

There is no reason that *nix CUPS printer service cannot be ported to BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0/2.1 and BlackBerry 10 given that someone has apparently done so for QNX upon which BlackBerry Tablet OS and BlackBerry 10 are based. This would allow wireless printing from the BlackBerry PlayBook just as we can send documents to a WiFi printer from our desktop computer running CUPS. Maybe the internal development team is not up to the task.
Android has apps for eprint but they are brand specific and only can be used with some printers in each line. Would the CUPS approach for the average wifi printer which uses special drivers on the laptop?
CUPS supports nearly all printers. With it we could print to more printers than ios and andriod combined.
