FYI: If you pause it (0:49) and scan the QRcode with your Blackberry handset, you can get a free book from Kobo.

Nice add. I wonder what software is being used for the touch interaction. QNX based maybe?

    Nice add.

I scanned it with the pb and it says "we're sorry, the offer is exclusively for Blackberry users!"

That may explain a lot about the pb - it is not really a bb!

edited to add: well, I scanned with the phone then purchased on the pb using the resulting code. Free book

My first thought to the ending was "we still are waiting".

The report didn't give the airport but it seems RIM is in partnership with "Monster Media" and the campaign is "BlackBerry PlayBook Domination." One of the posters on the site mentioned seeing BlackBerry Domination adds all over Bostons Logan Airport.

I cant believe I didn't think to scan the code.

the airport had to be JFK because when you pause to scan the code, it says you can either scan it or text JFK to a number. I also remember in the American Airlines terminal when you have to go under the tarmac, the whole under ground was covered in playbook wallpaper all the people movers and walls were covered with it

"Yeah, you should've waited. Introducing, the world's first professional-grade tablet."

Touching and clicking around is nothing new but I like how the lady near the end uses a bezel swipe.

If RIM keeps PlayBook exposure like this going then things could get really exciting really fast.

Jim B is the CMO now....I expect some really cool marketing to come our way! I'm sure this is part of the beginning of it
Here's another couple of small ads.

Based on the date in the link in post #12 from frfghtr, it looks like this was out in May 2011. Why is BlackBerry news tweeting about the video now?

It was removed late last night. But it was cool. Made by Monster Media.

Checked their website but could not find it in their portfolio.

Maybe too many people were downloading the free ebook.

Is this the video with the five/six foot ad? I've seen them in LAX for months now between the United & Continental terminals and think I saw one in DEN as well but can't remember.

It was huge. Looked about 6' high x 10' wide and touch enabled.

Yup that's the one. I'm flying into LAX next week and will try and grab some video - should I use my playbook or will it be too much - if there is enough time. I have a quick layover so I may be rushing.
