My blog post says it all, but I just wanted people to know that some of us out there actually do think the PlayBook is still a great little device for the (current) price.

Still very fond of mine, still using it for Kobo and other media browsing. Nice little device.

I don't know what it is with the browser. I agree it is not the greatest but has not impeded my ability to use my PB. I did notice it is very laggy after a security wipe or something but works well after a few days. I have Simple Browser and Fast Browser as well and still find myself using the stock browser more often. I'm typing this on the browser now. I even prefer it now over the CB Forums app for some reason. I have seen flash crashes in some rare instances. Example: Go to Crackberry.com. It's in tablet version. Top of the screen is a picture gallery. Hasn't finished loading. Touch the screen to scroll down and it crashes. If I wait for it to load it doesn't crash. But some find it crashing a lot or something? I dunno. It's rare enough for me to not care.

Simple browser simply shuts off java. You can do the exact same thing using the stock PB browser.

I actually don't mind the stock browser, but I did purchase the Fast Browser app to be able to easily toggle java/flash/ads on and off depending on what page I'm viewing.

I don't know what a current price is because i bought mine 1.5years ago, but I still love my PB.

I got my 64 GB PlayBook for $190. $260, total, with the accessories I bought for it. A great value, IMO.

Just ordered another 16g. Used mine for a year every day for work and still love it...despite lacking full bridge functionality which I hope is coming back.

Just received another 64GB PB for my wife. Since I got my Z10, I haven't used my PB as much. But it's certainly not neglected either.
