I'm looking at the PlayBook on eBay and Amazon. They have the 16, 32, and 64 on sale. Naturally I want the 64GB version. Does it only work with a data plan or can I use it on Wi-Fi like the 16 and 32GB versions?

I believe the models now selling on eBay are WiFi only. But, if you do find one that's wireless network ready, they do also work over WiFi as well.
Oooo thank you very much. Think it's stupid to buy one even discounted that hugely?
If you are looking for a media player it's a good option, other wise it's better to go with something else.

Pretty much just want it to browse the Internet while laying in bed trying to sleep. Thanks, guys.
That's a good use for a PB.
Browsing is slow on pb, if u are use to bb10 phone. So I doubt u will the pb a lot. But like said before u can use it as media player, it's just a big ipod.

Hi Shifty, the PlayBook is more than you are being told here ...see the Greatest Ever Apps & Games listings in PlayBook App&Games forum. Over 100 top class Apps. If you are not bothered about fad Apps, then with the right setup you have a Top quality Productivity Device. The Hardware Speakers etc is still second to none.
Get a bargain...get a PlayBook!!

Nope, not stupid at all, as long as you understand that it's 3-year-old tech, it won't be updated ever again, and of course there's that app situation. But I love the OS, and I still use mine daily (actually prefer it to the faster iPad Mini), and I'm thinking of grabbing another one of those cheap ones myself for a backup. :)
The trick with browsing on the PlayBook is that it's pretty slow when Javascript is turned on. Turn it off though, and it's about as quick as any modern browser. You'll run into compatibility problems with some sites when it's off, but to me it's worth it to leave it off and only turn it on if I run into problems.
I want to get me PB so that I can sync it with my Q10! Does it work well together or is the PB better off with OS7?
